Sarah & Mike - MARRIED!

Sarah & Mike were married June 18, at the Wolfeboro Inn in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

The weather was absolutely perfect for a wedding on Lake Winnipesaukee! (Sarah apparently has magical powers when it comes to weather, so all you upcoming brides, you may want to get in touch with her and have her work her magic to ensure the perfect weather for your wedding...) Between that and all the wonderful planning Leslye at Sparkling Occasions helped Sarah with, it was a dream wedding.

I could say a lot of things about this wedding, but I really feel like the photos from this one say it best. The laughter between these two ALL DAY LONG was awesome. They were so at ease and kept their friends laughing too. Without further ado, here's a quick recap of the day in pictures...

Sarah's dress was absolutely perfect. From the color, which was more of a blush color than a white, to the length of the train. I always love seeing what dresses my brides choose, because 9 times out of 10, it's exactly the dress I would have chosen for them. :)

I love that not only did Sarah's mom help her get dressed, but before that, Sarah helped her mom get dressed. It wasn't something I'd seen before and it wasn't anything that was planned. It just happened and I thought it was a really cool moment.

My second photographer for the day, Ben, was with the groomsmen while they got ready. I absolutely loved the gifts that Mike got for them. Each got their own decanter with their name etched on it. I haven't seen that as a gift before and it was really cool!

The other majorly impressive thing was that Mike tied his own bow tie. No clip-ons here! This guy is legit!

After the preparation was complete we were able to have Sarah's dad come in to see her for the first time. I always love dad's face when he sees his little girl. :o)

And Mike, well, you can just call him BOND. MIKE BOND. He was killing it in his outfit.

Also, loved the gift Sarah got him. Cuff links with the GPS coordinates engraved. (I love how personal this is for each couple. It's one of the newer trends in wedding gifts that I've enjoyed seeing more of!)

Sarah & Mike had their first look at a park near the docks in Wolfeboro. It really couldn't have been more beautiful. And Mike's face...

These two were so easy to photograph all day long. LOVE seeing couples so happy together!!

The wedding party also kept things fun! Sarah and Mike have an incredible group of friends and they had a blast together.

(I think the black and white photo of the wedding party above might be one of my favorites of the year...)

And the flower girl... y'all, she was born for this! She did an awesome job and the amount of energy she had, well, let's just say I was trying to channel it by the end of the night. :o)

I also don't think the beauty of their reception set up could be understated. The folks at the Wolfeboro Inn, along with Dandelion's Florist designed one of the most beautiful setups I've seen. (It's up there with the wonderful job Hampshire House did last weekend for Kristen & Kevin! The last two weekends reception decor will no doubt be in this year's top 5!)

Sarah & Mike opted to incorporate Johnny Walker Blue into their ceremony. Instead of a traditional unity candle, or the like, they shared their first drink together as husband and wife. I'm a little fuzzy on the significance of Johnny Walker in their life, but I know it has special meaning among their family and friends.) They also sealed the wooden box in the photo above with a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue and letters they each wrote each other. They'll open this on their 5th wedding anniversary and read the letters. Such a cool idea and a great way to remember exactly how you felt about each other on your wedding day.

After the ceremony was over, it was party time! I loved the entrance Sarah & Mike made! The entire wedding party was lined up and gave them high-fives as they made their way onto the dance floor. Some of the expressions were priceless. You could tell how genuinely excited their friends were for them.

After the first dance came the toasts. Sarah's dad, along with their best man and maid of honor shared some words about the couple. As you can see, there was no shortage of laughter!

We capped off the evening with some sunset photos on the lake. It was our last official portraits of Sarah & Mike and I absolutely LOVED these.

The party continued into the night with lots of finger pistols and dancing!

What an incredible day with this whole crew! Thanks for sharing the fun with us!

And, don't forget to check out the rest of the amazing vendors who made Sarah and Mike's wedding so perfect and beautiful! As a photographer, without these guys, I don't have a lot to work with. So thankful for awesome, talented and reliable vendors to work with on Saturdays!
