Where are you located?

Ali Cali Photo is located in Merrimack, NH. We have a studio available for photos, as well as viewing and ordering sessions in North Chelmsford, MA, in a historic mill building.

Should my parents come?

We recommend bringing a parent or an adult in your life who is important to you. Specifically, moms enjoy attending the sessions. This isn’t your average senior photo session. This is an experience and we love to have parents along to share in it with you. (Don’t worry, we won’t let them be embarrassing.)

What about hair and makeup?

We have an amazing stylist available to add to any session. She does both hair and makeup and you pay her directly for her services. Rates begin at $150 for full hair and makeup. She can stay for your session and provide multiple looks for hair and makeup for an additional fee.

How many outfits can I bring?

We suggest up to 5 outfits, and can include a gown from our collection if you choose.

How do I choose my outfits?

We suggest sending us photos of your outfits at least a week before the session. This allows us to offer any suggestions for accessorizing, as well as giving us a jump stat on ideas and locations for each outfit. We also highly recommend something formal: your prom dress, a dress rental, or borrow one of ours!

We want these photos to be uniquely you, so we can chat ahead of time about incorporating hobbies or activities you’re involved in and what outfits to bring for those.

You can also bring something a little more casual as well. Your favorite day-to-day outfit.

Where do the sessions take place?

This depends on you! We typically offer a studio/mill session, an urban setting or a more nature focused session. Nature sessions typically occur in a local park (Benson’s Animal Park, Greely Park, etc.)

Urban settings are typically shot in the downtown areas of Manchester or Nashua, New Hampshire, as well as our historic mill yard in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts. We also offer studio sessions and shoots in New York City and Boston on a limited basis.

Can I choose my own location?

Sessions are usually scheduled back to back so the location is typically already set based on your choice of urban or nature, but we can certainly talk with you about your location ideas. We love to explore new places, so don’t be afraid to ask!

What precautions are you taking due to COVID-19?

Everyone on set affiliated with Ali Cali Photo has been fully vaccinated and boosted.

As someone living with people in the high-risk category our goal is to provide sessions in a safe way to protect the client and photographer. We are following all state mandated protocols as well as guidance from the CDC. If you’re not feeling well, we are happy to postpone your session. We want everyone to stay safe and healthy!

What about bad weather?

We will stay in touch with you the week of the session and let you know if we need to reschedule due to weather. (Though, there can be some really great photos taken in the rain and snow!) We usually make the decision 24-48 hours before your scheduled session time.

What happens after the session?

We will send you a list of current specials and package offerings shortly after your session. You and your parents come to the studio, or log on to a zoom call for a virtual viewing and ordering session two weeks after the photo shoot takes place. We take you through the images one by one and choose the ones you love. There is no minimum order at our studio, so if you only love one image, you only purchase one image. No strings attached.
