Where are you located?

Ali Cali Photo is located in Merrimack, NH. Most of our photos are taken on location at various sites in the Greater Nashua, NH area.

Should my parents come?

A parent/guardian or an adult in your life who is important to you should accompany you to your session. Specifically, moms enjoy attending the sessions. This isn’t your average senior photo session. This is an experience and we love to have parents along to share in it with you. (Don’t worry, we won’t let them be embarrassing.)

What about hair and makeup?

We have an amazing stylist available to add to any session. She does both hair and makeup and you pay her directly for her services. Rates begin at $150 for full hair and makeup. She can stay for your session and provide multiple looks for hair and makeup for an additional fee.

How many outfits can I bring?

We suggest up to 5 outfits, and can include a gown or other accessories from our collection if you choose.

How do I choose my outfits?

We suggest sending us photos of your outfits at least two weeks before the session. This allows us to offer any suggestions for accessorizing, as well as giving us a jump start on ideas and locations for each outfit. We also highly recommend something formal: your prom dress, a dress rental, or borrow one of ours!

We want these photos to be uniquely you, so we can chat ahead of time about incorporating hobbies or activities you’re involved in and what outfits to bring for those.

You can also bring something a little more casual as well. Your favorite day-to-day outfit.

Where do the sessions take place?

This depends on you! We offer an urban setting or more nature focused sessions, or we can use a place that is special to you. Nature sessions typically occur in a local park (Benson’s Animal Park, Greely Park, Beaver Brook, etc.)

Urban settings are typically shot in the downtown areas of Manchester or Nashua, New Hampshire. We also offer shoots in New York City and Boston on a limited basis.

Can I choose my own location?

Sessions are often scheduled back to back so the location is typically already set based on your choice of urban or nature, but we can certainly talk with you about your location ideas. We love to explore new places, so don’t be afraid to ask!

What about bad weather?

We will stay in touch with you the week of the session and let you know if we need to reschedule due to weather. (Though, there can be some really great photos taken in the rain and snow!) We usually make the decision 24-48 hours before your scheduled session time. We can also schedule a rain date when we schedule your session.
