Jen & Rob must have chosen the most beautiful location for their wedding!  They were married in Essex Junction, Vermont, and held their reception at The Ponds at Bolton Valley. You'll know what I mean when you see more of the reception photos below!

Jen's makeup was beautiful! Vivian did a fantastic job, as always!

Her eyes, that dress... So beautiful!

Their wedding party was also fantastic! 

And, since the resort is a culinary resort, Rob's boutonnière smelled like spices! Everyone got in on the sniffing action...

We dodged the rain for a few pre-ceremony photos at their hotel, The Essex Resort & Spa, which also owns and manages The Ponds.

Shortly before the girls were supposed to load the bus for the ceremony, the bottom literally fell out of the sky. I didn't know it rained that much in Vermont, but it was a full-on thunder storm. I haven't seen one like it since my last summer-time visit to the South.

Despite the storm, Jen & Rob had a beautiful ceremony and you couldn't get the smiles off their faces if you had tried!

After the ceremony, everyone got on the bus to head to the reception.

About 40 minutes after we arrived at The Ponds, the sky cleared up and we made a run for it to get as many photos outside as we could.

We were able to get in quite a few photos before the fog began to roll in, which, honestly, also made for some really cool photos. :)

So much beauty! (This is why Vermont will always be one of my favorite places to visit!)

Everyone was all smiles for the first dance and parent dance! (See what I mean? Nothing could get these guys down!)

I think the toasts at this reception were some of the best. Rob's sister made a particularly emotional speech sharing with Rob, and the rest of us, the words that their Father would have shared had he been able to be with them. I doubt there was a dry eye by the end... I know mine weren't! It was a beautiful moment of tribute to their dad and a beautiful recognition of the wonderful people Jen & Rob are.

After speeches and dinner, the party was on! 

And, I can't end this post without posting my favorite photo from the day. I just fell in love with this one! The smiles on their faces and the genuine love they have for each other is just so powerful. So thankful to have been able to share in their day!
